Birthday card

Just finished a birthday card for my friend that I work with at school she does a lot of Salsa and other dancing. I have used a diecut body shape coloured with promarkers . Backing papers are hot of the press classic, gold card and co-ordinating burgandy card. Burgandy beads and bit of ribbon out of craft stash and a flower for hair.

My first award

Well I have just got back from an all day shopping trip with my girls in the new Westfield centre in Derby. Sat down with a cup of coffee and opened up my blog and I got the nicest surprise ever it was like Christmas all over again. A message from Rosie http://rosebuds-craftyrose.blogspot.com/ to say that she has given me an award. Thank you so much I feel really privileged to have received this especially since I have only started blogging before Christmas.

Sneak preview over at Spiral Whisper

Christmas Cards

Just a few more christmas cards, I just need to work on taking better images with the new camera that we have had, practise makes perfect!

Christmas tree

I have only just managed to load some of my christmas card images that I have made this year.
I used the cuttlebug embossed tree for this one which I absolutely love! decorated with glitter and ribbons for the inlaws and parents just need to need to finish with a sentiment.

Marzipan modelling

This is the marzipan modelling I have been learning to make, a nearly almost finished board need to finish the stones around the pond and pipe the eyes.

Christmas Cake

Here is my first christmas cake I have made, I started cake decorating course in Sept 08 and it is finally finished. Really pleased with the result never thought I would get to this stage.
Fruit cake, then marzipan and then royal iced 3 times, and made runouts and 3 kinds of piping and the designing the holly and white flowers.
