Something old or something new is the theme over at the sugar bowl this week I have chosen to use a stamp that I bought last year but it was never opened poor thing. This is my first christmas card for this year so I am quite happy! I am also going to enter this into this weeks stamp with stampavie challenge which has a theme of christmas in summer.

Summer holidays

Really going for it now spent at least the last hour taking photos and updating my blog, it seems I haven't lost my mojo and have really enjoyed spending time with my 12 year old daughter Katie card making which she has loved getting back into as well and she has also been revamping her blog if you haven't checked out Katie's blog have a look over at Welcome to Katzo Krazy!

So another commissioned card for the same lady she tends to give me her order in bulk so it's easier to work for this one reminds of getting ready to go travel on summer holidays which fits in with this weeks theme over at ABC challenge which is A for August.

Love this image from Mo Manning, love the ragdoll she is holding thought this would be appropriate for this weeks challenge over at Simon Says Stamp which has a song theme so going to go with Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons -Ragdoll. Made this card for a commission for a lady at work.

Here is my latest cake that I have just finished for a lady at Uni wanted a lady sitting in the garden sipping gin and tonic. Getting more confident now with sugar paste and modelling have a chocolate cake this week to make for my son's 19th birthday as we don't like sugarpaste in our house lol.

Sugar nellie winner

Oh my goodness I am thrilled to bits I have just found out that I won the Sugar Nellie challenge last week! It was a really spooked my lucky number is 29 because of son's birthday which was the random number and then the winner was picked on Saturday which was my nephews 6th birthday who I made the card for. Made this for my brother in laws birthday and it fits in with this weeks creative card crew challenge which is the delightful sketch by Emma.

I have recently undergone majory surgery and have only just got back into my cardmaking because one I haven't felt like it and two I have lost my mojo a little bit, if sometimes I don't but the right link to the correct challenge I apologise in advance, but please do not leave me a negative comment that may knock my confidence.

Rocking all over the world

Heres my entry for this weeks sugarbowl which is a great sketch by Marlene, I am not used to working with so many layers. I have used some fab papers from the Sweete shop this week which are quite funky!

cards galore

Well its certainly been a while, my degree has been taking up a lot of my time, full time job and my new role which I am loving at to say the least when I have had a litte spare time then I have had lots of cake orders! which I am loving so card making has taken a back seat really. Just had my second operation so who knows might get my mojo juices going again here is few that I did before I went into hospital last week :)

I have never used these papers until now can't think why! you how sometimes you forget what stash you have so its been really nice to use some of this recently to especially old stamps and dies for my big shot.

50th birthday cake

I have just finished this cake for her 50th birthday that I have been busy working on for 5 days, she absolutlely loved it! So I have managed to master my sugar paste technique its my birthday on Tuesday 9th February to I am off to make my cupcakes for work now, coffee, chocolate and lemon :)
