In the pink

Here is my 3rd christmas card for this year I am slowly catching up, only just got back into my card making although i thoroughly enjoyed it as my sister came over for a craft night I was really tired. The gorgeous papers are Zoe Pearn again! and I have used an elzybells stamp that I bought last year and didn't even use it poor thing I am entering this card into the stamp with stampavie this week they have a christmas theme at the moment.

Week 9 - sketch by Tara

This is my first christmas card of the year, but I have been looking at everyone else's blog and it seems they are way ahead of me already. I am still recovering from my operation and this is the first time that I have actually been able to make a card I still need help lifting heavy things so I have some great helpers round the house, because unlike some of you lucky girls I don't have my own craft room so I have 3 cupboards and I have to put it away each time.
Anyway I will stop going on now I am entering this card for this weeks basic grey challenge
the sketch is a lovley one created by Tara G, I have used my lovely wisteria papers.

commissioned cards

Hi everyone I've been a bad blogger but I do have an excuse I am going into hospital this wednesday for a major operation then its home to rest for 12 weeks before going back to work.
I have also started my foundation degree in teaching which has taken a lot of my time up since september.
I just haven't found the time to do any crafting surprise, surprise!
My lovely husband has bought me some lovely craft stuff to use for when I am recouperating so this will be something to look forward to.

Here is a card that I have made for my husbands 50th birthday on saturday he is flying off to spain tomorrow as a birthday treat from all of us on a golfing holiday.

I am going to enter this card for the high hopes challenge and christmas and birthdays is the layout for the challenge.

Feeling blue

I have used a sarah kay image, this has to be my favourite at the moment. I also used a lot of scraps and old papers from doodlebug that I haven't touched I am a bit like that like to collect papers and not use them lol I am sure you know what I mean.
The lady that I have made this for is mad about the colour blue as you can see!
Right off to the hospital for my appointment now can't wait to get it over with then back to work for me today.

hoppy birthday!

I am entering this card into this weeks stap with stampavie challenge which is the layout.
I have a lot of birthdays in September I loved using this stamp from high hopes.
I have used my promarkers, the background papers are digital downloads, I have finished his crown off with some pearly beads.

Sending you a sprinkling of fairy dust

Here is my entry for this weeks anyone for anya, I have paper pieced her dress and 3D her skirt, coloured with promarkers and finished her wings with stickles.

The paper is my minds eye I think and the sentiment stamp I purchased from ebay last year.
