cards galore

Well its certainly been a while, my degree has been taking up a lot of my time, full time job and my new role which I am loving at to say the least when I have had a litte spare time then I have had lots of cake orders! which I am loving so card making has taken a back seat really. Just had my second operation so who knows might get my mojo juices going again here is few that I did before I went into hospital last week :)

I have never used these papers until now can't think why! you how sometimes you forget what stash you have so its been really nice to use some of this recently to especially old stamps and dies for my big shot.

50th birthday cake

I have just finished this cake for her 50th birthday that I have been busy working on for 5 days, she absolutlely loved it! So I have managed to master my sugar paste technique its my birthday on Tuesday 9th February to I am off to make my cupcakes for work now, coffee, chocolate and lemon :)

christmas biscuits

So here I am this thursday evening with nothing else better to do lol when my daughter comes home from school and says mum can we make biscuits for my friends at school tomorrow for xmas presents, nothing like leaving things to the last moment eh.

So its took 5 1/2 hours lol to make the dough, chill it, cook it and ice and gift wrap everything we are really pleased how they have turned out so make make so more for nieces and nephews as things are tight this year so we are not buying presents for each other but what inexpensive gifts these are.

Gift box

At the weekend I altered a little gift box to put a secret santa present in for my christmas meal at work this week. I have never done anything like this before and it was a bit out of my comfort zone, I see some fabulous projects on other peoples blogs when they do this but mine didn't quite turn out as good oh well. I have used my promarkers and some christmas papers from my stash as well as other embellies.

I am going to enter this for the roses on paper challenge which is to alter something and the promarkers challenge which is anything but a card with a christmas or new year theme.
