It was my son's 18th birthday yesterday 12th August and as I have been so busy concreting this week with my husband I just managed to finish his birthday cake in time.I had an image printed for him at my local cake shop of his favourite on line game character and made his favourite chocolate cake, covered this in chocolate sugarpaste, iced around the cake and finished with chocolate fingers so can you tell he loves chocolate!
We took him out for a chinese meal last night and he didn't even have pudding because he couldn't wait to get back home to tuck his teeth into this lol.
His sisters embarrassed him by telling the waiter that it was his birthday and they announced it in the very busy restaurant and he was really embarrassed lol.
But couldn't wait to get back home so that we could sing happy birthday again and he could blow out his candles I knew there was still a kid him still somewhere.
so off to finish royal icing an order for a 75th birthday now.
